At last, making some time to blog. I am excited about my upcoming trip to Tasmania. I will be sea-kayaking in a very remote area for 7 days. This is the landscape ..but probably this calm is a rarity.

This is a photo of my Dad, foreground in white overalls. He was in the RAAF during the atomic testing at Maralinga. See caption "Washing radioactive dust off a Lincoln at Maralinga". Not much protective clothing around in those days.

Finally time to get back to my blog

I have just written a whole lot of stuff and then deleted it by accident.
It's learning as you go, with a bit of swearing here and there.

We have over 40 BCC library staff registered which is great as it is less than a week since "23 Things" was launched.

I am just playing with this. It is very easy to use and I love all of the gadgets. I wonder how many of our staff have registered so far. It's great to be learning new stuff.
